What's Happening In The Coffee Industry This Month?
September is a busy month in the coffee-growing world.
- In Peru, Indonesia & Timor Leste, farmers are in the middle of harvesting and processing their fresh crop.
- In Brazil, the harvest has just finished, and beans are being prepared for export.
- In Ethiopia and Kenya, the coffee trees are blossoming – these flowers will become next year’s cherries.
- And in Central America & Vietnam, farmers are getting ready for their main harvest season starting soon.
So while you’re enjoying your Well Roasted coffee this month, farmers across the globe are either picking, processing, or preparing the next harvest that will eventually make its way to your cup. Pretty amazing hey!
