Darjeeling tea is grown in North India in the foothills of the Himalayas, it is often described as the Champagne of teas, this tea is from the Margaret’s Hope Estate and is a F.T.G.F.O.P.1 grade, or Fine Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe. The tea is grown at high altitude and offers a distinctive character with astringency and hints of Almonds. Penetrating yet delicate and refreshing.
